paint_without_pain
Microsoft has started to bundle Windows 10 with a screenshot tool (Screen Sketch) which can be used through the notification area. But if I do so and paint.net is start at the same it automatically gets the focus, renders my attempt to take a screenshot pointless. So I only can take sreenshots of paint.net. This behaviour is faulty and I consider that a bug. Regards, Wolfgang Fürst
Rick Brewster
This does not happen for me. I use the Win10 screenshot thingy quite a lot. Is anyone else able to reproduce this? 1 The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Ego Eram Reputo
Nope. I tried using both the Store & Classic versions. I'm using the Windows + Shift + S keyboard shortcut to invoke the snipping tool and I can't get it to misbehave. ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
AndrewDavid
I used it through the notification area and had no problems. Nice for the op to let me know it was there. 1 (My New Signature) Nickpic was a image hosting source made specifically for RPers and its shutting down. I use postimage.IO for free web hosting. How long before they follow photobucket and NicKPic?
paint_without_pain
Sorry for that long delay for replying. I've tested this problem today again and surprisingly the behaviour is gone. That other day I could reproduce it over and over again, that's why I reported. Sorry for making unnecessary noise 🙄
