Problem after saving a Picture

Hi All,


I have a Problem after saving a Picture as *.jpg (this works fine). But if you change something and hit again save - i get the Error below:


Application version: paint.net v4.2.12

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): ReplaceFileW() returned FALSE (5, ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED)
   bei PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.NativeUtilities.ThrowOnWin32Error(String message, Int32 lastWin32Error, Boolean alwaysThrow) in D:\src\pdn\src\SystemLayer\NativeUtilities.cs:Zeile 89.
   bei PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.FileSystem.ReplaceFile(String replacedFileName, String replacementFileName, String backupFileName) in D:\src\pdn\src\SystemLayer\FileSystem.cs:Zeile 48.

The same thing was happening to me after switching to v4.2.12.

I could not save over an existing file. I would have to 'save as' a new filename. It's possible my problem was related to saving to a network location.

I eventually just reverted to v4.2.11 and it fixed the problem.

Please install this and try saving again to the locations where you were having trouble.
