WillyTP
Hello everybody. I'd like to accomplish the following task. I'm taking some pictures, not all of them are of the same resolution due to resizing. Inside these pictures, I've to add some text, arrows and so on, in order to give instructions. For example: imagine a floor with two objects; I've to draw a (1) next to one, (2) next to the other object, and an arrow between the two. In order to highlight the numbers next to the objects, I'm drawing a white circle with a black number inside it. My question are: 1)Is there a way to automatically draw a circle with a number / text inside it, without drawing before circles and then characters? 2)how to make the text looking the same size on different resolution pics? Thanks for suggestions and advices!
Ego Eram Reputo
My WhichSymbol plugin can be used to display characters from installed fonts. Wingdings has a series of characters which are encircled. See the middle of this screenshot. I'm sure you could find other fonts with similar adornments if Wingdings isn't to your liking. Rendering one character at a time would be slow though. It might be better to use the Text Tool with the Wingdings font selected. It sounds like you need a label creator. A label creator with different shapes and borders and adjustable text would be a great addition to the text effects. In the mean time you can use Speech bubble . It is a plugin that can help you draw an ellipse or a rectangle with rounded corners. It is possible to type text inside the shape but if you want it adjusted to the center you will have to adjust it manually.
