Antediluvian Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Greetings. An image with transparent background, two copies pasted from paint.net to MS Word a minute apart, one copy has proper transparency (page background visible), one is filled with white. I believe there's a trick to control transparency, but what is it exactly? I didn't use any tools beside the conventional Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V, and definitely didn't fiddle with image format in MS Word after pasting it. Quote
Rick Brewster Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 There's no trick, the clipboard is just a cranky thing in Windows, to hand-wave a summarization of the many long battles I've had with it. Also, you didn't specify which version of Word you're using ... make sure you're using the latest. Same for Paint.NET. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Antediluvian Posted May 12, 2020 Author Posted May 12, 2020 A random, albeit useful bug. Defeat accepted. Quote
