1st Place goes to @welshblue with 9 votes :trophy:

2nd Place goes to @Pixey and @MJW with 7 votes :trophy-silver:

3rd Place goes to @welshblue with 6 votes  :trophy-bronze:

Congratulations everyone.  Such delicious entries from all of you <3

@welshblue's Oreo cookie was so realistic, as was @MJW's chocolate chip cookie.  Those chocolate chips looked like the real deal :cookie-chocolate:

Sweet work by @welshblue and @Pixey! In fact, all the entries were nicely done. My favorite, though, was welshblue's 3rd place entry. Something about the coloration and texture really said "cookie"! I was also impressed by the handling of the off-angle views of the surfaces on several entries, and in particular the fluted edges of the Oreos.

I don't know how Pixey made hers but Mine drove me mad ... finding the right line tool thickness/ then Kaleidoscope / then Rotate Zoom to get it right, took an absolute age.

Thanks to those for the votes.  There were great entries ... @MJW ... still undecided how you got the undulations (3D Object ?) but coupled with those chocolate chips you just want to pluck out of the screen.  Brilliant.  Pixey's glazed look (on the biscuit ...) screamed luxury and @lynxster4's appealed because of the great texture - I imagined it being coconut

Thanks for hosting @Pixey

That was done by using the infamous beta-released Texture View Skewer, followed by the beta-released, but less infamous, Perspective Transformation, then lots of shape adjustments with pyrochild's Liquify.  (The Texture View Skewer is infamous to me, because it's on the verge of being something really useful, but I can't quite figure out how to make it work as I'd like it to.)

@MJW That explanation makes me realise I've got to start learning to use Texture View Skewer more, I've only used it to make stone textures but your cookie combined with ingenious use of Liquify shows there's far more to it's arsenal.  That cookie really is the bee's knees
