How can I put a background behind an image?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,  I have some product images for our website that have a white background. Is there a way that I can put a background or

at least a colored background on them? any instructions on how to do that or videos?

On a plain white background the magic wand could possibly suffice to remove around your product  ... you may have to adjust the tolerance to suit.

Then use AA - Assistant  to clean up the edges

Or for a cleaner cut out there's this technique https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/114692-video-tutorial-major-update-using-paintnet-and-qmic/

I can't attest to the first video as I haven't tried it yet - the second one, excellent results

Once the white is removed you can add any background you want by creating a new layer and moving it below your product
