Hello everyone,

My name is Ryan and I i have been using paint.net for 4 of my 19 years on this earth.

I usually make abstracts and logos but recently I have widened my "art". I will be posting most of everything I make in a gallery on here as soon as I have time to upload everything.

I enjoy everyones art (no such thing as bad art...) and most people on this forum seem to be very friendly.

Looking forward to seeing and showing some wonderful stuff on here.

Hi! I've been using PDN for about 3 years off and on, and I'm back on =) I figured that since I've been using ya'lls amazing tutorials, I should actually get an account and use it. lol

I'm not very talented yet, but I really hope that I can learn and improve. Always looking for constructive criticism.

Hey guys! New here around these parts, and I'm used to Photoshop, so Paint.NET is a huge leap! Gotta say I miss Photoshop's text and layer handling though it doesn't have near the potential of PDN.

I'm going to try to major in Desktop backgrounds, but I make signatures as well.

I'm having an issue, maybe it has to do with my post count or something. I can't post a Photo for my profile. It always says "The File you Uploaded is Too Large". This is impossible, as the original image was only 120 by 120 and around 33 kb. I reduced it to something around 40-50 by 30 and 1,108 bytes (yes, just bytes). I find it impossible to believe that the file size limit would be any less than 12 kb.

Also, I'd like to find out how to do this:

It was posted by "Aguba" in the Desktop Art thread.

Someone below said something about a tutorial, yet I searched to no avail.

I can figure out the rest, all I need to know how to do is the glassy rectangle.

PM me the instructions please. :D

Thankies~

I found no option to disable/enable my profile photo. boltbait.sad.png

Also, thanks for the tut link. However, I was hoping I could get a little more in depth with how to replicate the exact effect in the image I posted.

Hello,

I just downloaded Paint.NET last week and I am brand new to this type of thing. Just joined the forum today. My name is Caley by the way boltbait.smile.png

I am looking for a super basic tutioral to literally walk me through the absolute basics. I downloaded Paint.NET to design a graphic for watermarking my photos. I'm also in the process of building a personal portfolio website. So I am not needing anything super advanced at the moment. I'd love to learn as much as possible and eventually make things just for fun.

I'm having trouble understanding how to do basic text graphic functions. I am completely unsure how to use most of the tools ect.

Any and all help is appreciated. I just wanted to explain why I'm here. Thank you!

I'm taking a look into the help tools accessible by typing F1 while in the Paint.NET screen. Thanks in advance!

Keep in mind we aren't here to do any work for you though. Helping, yeah we help a ton. But we're not for hire.

Thank you!

And I apologize if you read my post as looking to hire someone or have anyone do anything for me. I was just stateing what I'm here looking for and what issues I'm having.

No I didn't think so, I'm just saying as most new users here seem to ask us to do their work. Feel free to make a new thread under the General Discussion forum if you have any issues! ;)

Hi...I've been posting for a while, just haven't gotten around to introducing myself...I bet ya'll are thinking "Who's this crazy girl with newbie pictures that just randomly showed up"...That's me!

I'm Tarat...I'm in college working towards a Nursing degree and play around with PDN when I'm not studying...Slowly, I'm getting better and the wonderful tutorials are certainly helping me ^_^

Uhm...I'm a gamer(Oblivion, Fallout, etc) and love reading just about anything I can get a hold of. I used to write fanfiction, but that fell by the wayside when I started college. My FFN name is "El Loco Uno"...Unless they deleted me for inactivity or something...Lemme check...Yep, still there...

I'm from Arkansas, living in a little town of around 1,200 people and contrary to popular belief, we don't all have blacked out teeth and let our young'ins run around naked...lol

But yeah...That's me...I hope I can make some friends on here...So far, everybody has been very helpful and nice ^_^ If you have nay questions, comments, rants, whatever else, please feel free to PM me...Nearly always willing to chat.

hi, i'm stu. i'm from scotland, and have been using PDN for a couple of years. i frequent the forums, but have never posted until now (i normally find that my questions have already been answered, which is rather comforting, knowing others have been/are in the same boat as you :P.)

i don't really do anything creative with it, just minor photo editing etc, and take the odd flight of fancy here and there; which is made very easy, with the excellent plug ins, and the absolutely foolproof interface. anyway, just saying hello, thank you to everyone who contributes (either in the forums, towards the program, or making add ons/plug ins for it,) and long live PDN.
