Hey, I just downloaded PDN yesterday, and became a member today. This is a great program. I've always had an interest in stuff like this, but I never wanted to pay for the software. Hope I'll learn how to use PDN, learn a lot of helpful tips, and be able to create whatever I feel like making.

Hello guys and girls :P.

My name is Gregor and I come from Slovenia.

I am using pdn for about one year and I was always researching it just like a guest, but now I decided to register on it.

Cheers!

Hey all,

Just wanted to drop a quick line and say hello. I've literally been playing about with Paint.Net for a couple of days, browsing these forums and just generally experimenting with the different features of the program.

I'm starting to work on building my own games for the PC and 360 and hopefully I'll eventually be able to provide my own artwork as well. It's the first time I've tried to create any image-related art in about 10 years (I used to draw like mad as a kid) so I thought I'd sign up for some advice and feedback on what I'm creating as I go along boltbait.smile.png

Cheers,

Hi Frosty!

For games you'll probably need some textures, so I'll point you there.

Also, they'll probably have to be seamless, so I'll point you there.

It's always good to have new people around here! If you want anything to be rated with comments (Like 1 to 10) or you need help, make a gallery or go to the image hospital.

And just to make one more link, if you need anything else, search before asking.

Thanks! I'll take a look at those links asap. I've chucked my rather limited selection of "work" so far up in the gallery. Will hopefully have more to add soon!

Yep, that is the way to do it...just experiment. Tutes are great for helping you to understand how things work & for inspiration. Welcome & don't be afraid to ask questions.

Hey everyone! :)

My name's ClockworkDemon... but I'm quite the opposite of a demon. I like lots of different things: Clocks (of course), LittleBigPlanet, digital design, and just about most things on a computer. I've been working with paint.net for about 12 months now, and I've enjoyed most of my time on it. Plug-ins are VERY helpful, as I used to make outlines of objects by duplicating it and making the behind layer bigger xD

I hope to stick around for a while :)

I'm new. Been using Paint.net since october 2009 or so. Signed up mainly because I was tired of only stumbling upon Photoshop tutorials on the other forums I frequently visit.

Oh and English is not my native language.
