adding plugins in Windows 10

I am new to Paint.net and just downloaded it a few days ago.

I have windows 10 and wanted to add a plugin.

Following the advice on the tutorial I went looking for the location of paint.net on my PC so I could put the plugin in the right file, but simply could not find it.

Its not in 'Program files' and its not in 'Program files (x86)'.

My PC appears to be treating Paint.net as an App and has put in a file somewhere that I cant find or dont have access to.

I searched the whole of the C Drive for paint.net and it does not find it all - is it downloaded under a different name?

Any help much appreciated.
