Replacing color

How to replace one color with another in the whole picture at once?

 

Of course, I could use the Recolor tool with gigantic brush size, but it doesn't look like the right way to do this task.

1. Select the new color as your Primary color.
2. Shift key + magic wand the color you want to replace with Tolerance set to zero.
3. Hit backspace.

I think Red ochre's plugin: Recolour Choice might be what you're looking for.

Thanks, it's more or less worked.

 

But how in the world one can guess about holding Shift key and hitting Backspace? The UI has no clue about it.

I confess that I did not know this until I looked it up just now, so none of this intuitive, but you don't have to guess either.
It is covered in the documentation.
