ScottSun
I am running Windows 10 Home x64 (10.0.19555.0) I had the free version and it wouldn't update as it would fail missing an MSI. The free version did not uninstall well (left an entry in Add/Remove) andcomplains about missing \Staging\PaintDotNet_x64_27095077.msi I've installed the store version (4.2.9) just fine, but I'd like to install the free version, any ideas? Thank you! I love this tool. ScottSun
I ran the troubleshooter at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed and it worked its magic, and the free version installed just fine after that. Leaving this here to help others. 1
Ego Eram Reputo
Glad to hear you've got it sorted. I run both versions side-by-side too 👍 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
