I am using paint.NET as a photo editor for mainly my YouTube thumbnails and such. I was wondering if anybody has any reccomendations as to what plugins to install to make my thumbnails look EVEN better? And maybe even plugins to use for other things. It would be much appreciated.

Really anything I guess, there's just so many plugins to install that I don't possibly have enough time to go through all of them. So i guess to narrow it down, what would be ideal for some REALLY GOOD thumbnails/pictures?

"Professional looking" is going to be a subtle combination of quite a few effects and plenty of different techniques. Then there is composition, color theory, subject matter and a plethora of other things that have to be considered.

There isn't a single plugin, but you could play for hours with the different filters in G'MIC

Hi @ToxiicRaiinTV and Welcome :)

As you are only using paint.net to edit images you will probably never learn about what certain plugins can do.  The best way to understand what paint.net is capable of, is to try out the many tutorials in the Tutorial area.  A simple way to 'enhance' an image is to use the Layers Mode options, which can either improve an image, or totally destroy it 😫
