How about "other - other"?

Do they have to have a cursor that is movable? Does it have to be on a PC? (not as opposed to mac, but as in Personal Computer)

If not, I've even "typed at the CLI of" many custom OS's (from scratch - they're for TI 83+/84+ hardware)

Why is NT not with 2k and XP?

I would write plugins, if I knew what kind of plugins were needed.. :(

I've used quite a few operating systems that aren't on this list... :D

... like Unix, Pr1meos, TRS-DOS, CPM, MS-DOS...

I don't even know what the Operating Systems were called on a bunch of computer systems I've used (and even programmed)!

Let's see, DOS 5 and 6.22, Windows 3.11, NT 3.51, NT4, 95, 98, 2000, XP and Vista.

For Linux mostly Slackware and few times Fedora.

And on my 286 Toshiba "laptop" I used on top of DOS 5 I think it was called GeOS, it started with a lobby of sorts and then you navigated to specific programs.

You're forgetting Windows 3.x... My first computer used that, back in the mid-90s. It cost over £1000, and had a hard drive with less than 1gb of space on it, an 0.00Hz processor and 2 bytes of RAM. It ran MS Paint and educational videogames... Oh, happy days... *goes misty-eyed* 8)

As I have said before, I was just about to include Windows 3.1, I had it on the list, but it was an option I removed due to the limit of 10.

MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP (SP1,2,3), Windows Vista (and SP1), Mac OS (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and X), Ubuntu Linux (Debian-based), and Red Hat Linux. Of these, I think my favorite is still WinXP. But that's what I use. I'm not anti-Vista, though.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.

I'm 23. When we got our first computer, Win3.1 reigned supreme.

When I got my first computer, It had Windows 98.

It got a BSoD after the first day shutting down..... :|

After that, I upgraded the desktop to Windows 2000 on a desktop (when it was released) while having XP on a laptop, which I bought a few years later. Laptop then got upgraded to Vista when it came out. And just recently, I debunked the Win2000 computer and brought a brand new one with Vista SP1.

Even though I loved it, I think my XP laptop had the most problems....near the end of its life anyway. When I learned that I was gonna get Vista, XP started randomly starting up with BsoDs frequently, and if it got past that, it would start up only to be forced to shut down (which was unable to be aborted BTW). For that week (got Vista at the end of the week), I had to do my homework in the Windows 2000 desktop, which wasn't bad but depressing....

Windows 3.1 For The Win! My family's first computer ran Win3.11, and it was, literally, a huge, beige box far less powerful than the cheapest, crappiest Eee PC today, for about £1,500 or some similar amount!
