thelonelyme
I don't know why this is happening, I don't know what I did, if ANYONE can help with this, It would be greatly appreciated. btw I have tried uninstalling everything, fixing paint.net through the programs and features on Win 10, and using the paint.net fix thing in the files. thelonelyme
I turned off 'Hardware Accelerated Rendering', I think it fixed the bug, but what happens when I turn it off? should I turn it off?
Reptillian
Right now that is a temporary solution until @Rick Brewster fixes it. So, I believe you should turn it off. That being said, that is very wacky, but there is interesting generated stuff from the bug. Quote G'MIC Filter Developer
BoltBait
You have sharpening enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Turn off that feature and you should be good. 1 1 Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
thelonelyme
@BoltBait but I use that for my games, I can turn it off if it helps, but can I keep 'hardware accelerated rendering' off?
thelonelyme
@Reptillian so, the issue can be fixed? I dont need to change my own settings? if I do, I understand, but should I wait for a fix?

The issue is caused by the sharpening feature being enabled in the global settings, which forces it to be applied to all applications. You should be able to turn it off in global settings and enable it for individual games using the program settings. It's a bad design on NVIDIA's part, IMO. You found the solution though: don't do that There's nothing I can do on the app side. Rick Brewster
Don't turn on sharpening globally. Turn it on for each game. There's no possible fix on my side, you just have to avoid using global settings like this. It's just a dumb thing NVIDIA did with their driver. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
