Dimitris C.
Hi guys! I've been using paint.net for many years. I'm using Windows 10. Recently and after all the updates of the program (I'm currently using version 4.2.8), it seems that the Alpha Mask has stopped working. It appears in the menu bar, the dialogue window opens, but nothing happens. The .dll I've installed also seems to be outdated, since it's from 2009. I've tried to look for a newer version, but I didn't find any. I've also uninstalled and installed anew the Alpha Mask plugin, I've watched many tutorials and followed them step by step, but without success. Is there any solution to this? You can't really do all the wonderful things without it... 😞 Edited December 30, 2019 by Dimitris C.
Ego Eram Reputo
There was a change in 4.2 which did affect Alpha Mask. Read about it here (also workarounds) : https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/1854-alpha-mask-import-plugin-20/page/6/ I'll close this thread. Please repost in the above thread if you continue to have trouble.
