BobGrey
I recently had some issues with my PC, resulting in a full wipe and reinstall of operating system. However, Paint.Net can't install. Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64bit Version 1903 Build 18362.535. .Net Framework 4.8 Update 528040 Released 10 November 2019. Windows Update found no new updates. Paint.Net 4.2.8 Installer. Issue: Upon running the installer, I get the "Installing Setup" window: As soon as this is done and closes, the Setup window (at least, that's what I assume it is) attempts to open for only a few milliseconds, then closes itself. No error popup or anything. Just a silent close.

Ego Eram Reputo
Quote Problems during Download .. 2. Unzip the file to your desktop. Don't use Alzip as it is old and broken. Use WinZip, 7-zip, WinRAR, or even the functionality that's built-in to Windows itself (Right-click, Extract to...). Are you extracting the archive? Some systems do not like Setup being run from inside the zip. BobGrey
Yes. I always unzip things before using them, as it is faster that way.
