Shadow issues when saving

Hello!

So, I am trying to make a material desing logo.

I know, it's not really good, but, it's good enough for me.

Basically, I made some shadows with Unfocus effect.

When I save it as a png, shadows "broke".

IMAGE IN PAINT (How the logo should look when saved & transparent background)

I would really like to fix that issue somehow, because, it looks very weird.

Thank you for your help. :)

They look same; the shadows abruptly end in both images.

They don't.

This is an image from PAINT.net with white background and difference is visible. In the saved image (second agove.), shadow's outlines are clearly visible, which I don't want. But yeah, how would i still improve it?

You need to make sure your canvas in large enough for shadow boundaries. Otherwise, the shadows will get cut off.

So, Enlarge your canvas, and re-draw the shadows.

(September 25th, 2023)  Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue.

Honest opinion: I think the shadows are too heavy handed. Drop shadows want to be more subtle. The elements would also benefit from different shadow lengths and intensities to make the elements look more separated and reinforce that they are at different heights off the background.

To illustrate, below I've used different shadow lengths to make the separation more obvious (original is on the left, mine on the right). On the right, the purple rectangle has a shadow length about 10px when it is over the blue disk. When the same purple rectangle is over the white background, the shadow is longer and a little more diffuse - indicating the purple element is further away from the background than the blue disk. There are some nice overlapping shadows where the purple shadow meets the blue shadow. I pulled the same trick with the NB letters.

I've also made the lighting a bit more directional. The light apparently comes in slightly from the NW corner - casting longer shadows to the East and South of every element. I didn't redo GAMES with this shadow direction - but you should get the idea that it too should have a directional shadow.
