Cannot Pinch and Zoom

Recommended Posts

I am a longtime user of PDN and have always been very satisfied with the program. The program updated today (Nov 26, 2019), and while everything else seems to work smoothly so far, I find that I suddenly can't use two fingers on my touchscreen to pinch+zoom or scroll up and down. Drawing with the touchscreen (with one finger) works as always, but in order to zoom I have to use the manual zoom in the bottom right or Ctrl + mouse scroll, both of which I find inconvenient; since I mostly draw with one finger on my touchscreen, zooming in and out and scrolling with two fingers has always worked best for me. I tried closing and reopening the program and testing pinch+zoom with different files as well as different programs on my computer, so I know the problem is in PDN. Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a fix, or was this part of the update?

Hello @pingo1387 and Welcome to the forum :)

I have just tried this on my computer (I've never tried the touchscreen before) and I find that when I try to increase, or decrease with 2 fingers, it just moves the image up or down.  With Ctrl + and Ctrl - it works fine.

I'll be fixing this in a 4.2.8 update that I'll be sending out soon -- but, I'm stuck at a hotel surrounded by snow, so it may be a little while!

I'm guessing you are not in Florida :)  Enjoy the snow snowman.png
