Vagabondi's Gallery ~ My Signature and Other Animals

Recommended Posts

I am a PDN sophomore (started with 4.0.21) but all you see below was made during this autumn. Kind of suddenly. And it doesn't seem to stop so I just need a landmark. Click and have fun.

Now seriously. Thank you all for the creative energy that lives here. It makes the newcomers want to do things they have never tried before.

Special thanks to:

@lynxster4 and Lydia @ScrapbookWithPDN - for every time your great shapes were guiding my hand

@Pixey for inspiration - yours was the first gallery I checked and you leave people no choice but start trying, you glossy

@Wither for one tricky tutorial - I read it and I understood the whole layer thing

plugin authors - @BoltBait, @dpy, @Ego Eram Reputo, @jchunn, @Joshua Lamusga, @MadJik@MichaelVinther, @NomBot, @pyrochild, @Red ochre, @ReMake, @Simon Brown, @TechnoRobbo, @toe_head2001, @Tom Jackson, @xod - for practical magic

@Seerose for tomorrow - because 62 page-by-page takes time (but promises a lot)

@Rick Brewster - for this "wonderful playground" (c)

Shine on you crazy diamonds...

WOW! I am just stunned!  😵  Your work is soooo good.

I'm very impressed.  I'm glad some of my shapes came in handy.

Keep doing what you're doing. Look forward to seeing more!  :star:  😄

@ReMake, thanks... for me this is more unexpected than for any longtimer. And I literally ran across some of the results while playing & trying to get different ones.

In paint.net, effects use you :devlish:

@lynxster4, I'm glad that you're glad. Your shapes rock & roll, they reign & rule. Thanks again.

And trust me, you will get more because this is not all. Winter is coming...

How lovely to view your work @Vagabondi and I'm really touched to know that I was an inspiration to you - how cool is that - thank you :)

You have certainly gotten the hang of PDN and your results are fabulous indeed.  I note you were a fan of Grumpy Cat - me too 😻

Look forward to seeing your Gallery expand.  And, BTW, I too sit a lot more at the computer in Winter and my waist expands at this time of the year 🤣

Thank you @Pixey - yes you were. Tomorrow I'm going to pay a visit of admiration to your Gallery and be more specific (haven't done that before - sorry - been buzy).

#TeamGrumpy4Life

And waist is middle class, my dear - you are the Queen, you're bigger than that. ;)

Welcome Vagabondi ... cool avatar.

Great start to your gallery, the neon edges genre caught my eye

Best way to learn.  When the fun stops.  Stop.

Not bad having Pixey as an inspiration either

@Eli, how is your museum doing? Any update any time soon? Would be cool!

Nope. Cause I'm normally driven by sadness (nothing else like that fuel). But it's the combination of the two that attracts me most - in arts and in people, too.

It doesn't take much lately ... but I'm confused.   A combination of fun and sadness ?

Sadness of any form is too debilitating  for me.  Especially in others.

Which is why I volunteer with troubled teens and teach Paint.net to try and overcome it,  by getting them to express themselves on canvas.

Thankfully, for most it's helping

Even my 'dark' or macabre images are always based on hope

You must be referring to this?  It was an experiment to see if I could achieve the double exposure technique in PDN that is easy to do in Photoshop or Gimp.  It wasn't that easy, requiring some thinking and tinkering.  I think I'll do another double exposure to see if I remember how I did it.

Wow, I didn't think the hummingbird was a good one as I was trying to make it look like the hummingbird was coming out of the plastic thing.  The other one that I called Mysterious was trying to create a movie-style poster.  I will certainly try and make more things.  :)

No clipart - all PDN effects and shapes. The Sentinel is dedicated to @lynxster4 who does such things much better. @Red ochre, your fantastic pack offers more than we know. Thank you @xod for the clock plugin.

Wonderful additions to your gallery @Vagabondi!  <3  I especially love the seascapes; great job!

With 'The Sentinel' on watch, we have nothing to worry about!  :star:    I'm also drawn to 'Prisoners'; great job on the clock face. :)

Also, the girl with the crazy hair is so cute - great use of @Red ochre's Plugins you've got going here.  And, the mouse in the flower is darling 😍
