Vagabondi's Gallery ~ Mosaic vs Sketch

Twin Pics

These pictures are "twins" because they had the same base but were finished in two different ways. Sometimes it's hard to choose between the two ideas / effects / details.

1-2 are based on my favorite tutorial by @Red ochre. Arty Thing and the new one, Grow, can add a nice touch to it.

Dark-Gold.png

3-4 are Dryads. Well, you can see Cobweb and some others there, too.

Fancy-Tree.png

White-Crow.png

5-6 were made with the help of Arty Thing and Grow again. Shapes by... guess who? @lynxster4 :star:

Besties.png

7-8 road trips wouldn't happen without Arty, Grow, Scribble, Dryad and FurBlur.

That's all. Thanks for your visit and stay safe during the rough times.

RAVEN

I think the original image was one of MS wallpapers. :arrow-down:

I applied @Red ochre's Scribble (scratch board preset) - highly recommended!

- then played with blending and some other effects - like Tesserae or Boxfitting -

including a couple of depricated plugins :devlish:which still work fine most of the time

They are all just gorgeous @Vagabondi and the colors are riveting.  It's always hard to pick a fave, but if push came to shove I'd say the Fog one is quite spectacular   :star:

It was the Fog that started it all...

Inferno was the most unexpected - the magic of PDN - just tried another blend mode and omg.

Take care y'all!

They are 100% PDN and it's funny how six months ago I could do literally nothing of these. Time flies. ;)

Again, thanks everyone for everything -

😍 Oh, they are all wonderful and so colorful, uplifting and cleverly put together :)  That turtle is just adorable and the Plugin you used for the pattern is on the tip of my tongue - maybe it'll come to me in a minute.  Great pieces @Vagabondi ✔️

The subtle paper texture on the burning butterfly works really well!
That one is my favourite but they are all good.😉

Animal Texture for the shell (+ TR's DrumSkin for its shape) and Cell Texture for the skin. B) Glad that you like the Turtle (and been uplifted). Remember you've started it all... 🍒

Red, I'm touched to hear that from someone like you - the paintings on your site impress me every time and speak volumes about your talent. :Swatch: Btw the wood texture in 'Uncertainty' is your Arty Thing:star:
