Where is it..I purchased it...

Recommended Posts

Microsoft makes a small thing a big hassle...I purchased the program, there was a button to install it, I clicked it, it's not installed, no PAINT.NET folder...

I have some dll's to put in the folder but no place to put them.. See the pic, this is all I get, it never completes.

??

When you install Paint.NET from the Microsoft Store, you won't be able to access a program folder for it.

There are special instructions for installing plugins in this case:

You need to install it from the Microsoft Store program.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4479732/get-apps-from-microsoft-store-on-windows-10-pc

If you don't use Windows 10, then you won't be able to install it.

Yes, it is installed locally in your computer.

As I said earlier, you won't be able to access a program folder for software that's installed via the Microsoft store.

We have also given you instructions for installing plugins in this case.

You have the information you need. Locked.
