How to move selected pixels on multiple layers simultaneously

Recommended Posts

For the sake of argument, let's say I have the two following layers (with pixel grid enabled):

layer 1image.png.26bbd9337c6d3c53c58a7ac7115e885f.png       layer 2: image.png.7b690f2c4b273668de76d44cd59e6aa7.png

I would like to know if there is a way to move the selected pixels in ONE layer, and have this action propagate into the other layers.

For instance, if I move one pixel in layer one:         image.png.f904ee216187d431e670b7cc42d82d56.png

I want this to happen to the second layer as well: image.png.6df292c814cc5bbefc8188222eeee072.png

Is this possible?

EDIT: If this isn't possible, where can I suggest this feature to be implemented?

That is a feature of Layer Groups, but Paint.NET doesn't support Layer Groups.

Layer Groups is on the common requested features list.  This would be a pretty big change to Paint.NET, so don't hold your breath waiting for it to be implemented.
