Hello fellow Paint.NET users =]

My name is Emi, and I'm kind of new to Paint.NET, as I was a Gimp user before this x] But, I'm an Australian... I'm female, stand at 5'11... I have long brown hair and green eyes...

I love music, writing, reading and sleeping x] My favourite colour is blue and my favourite band is E Nomine. I love drawing all kinds of animals and taking photos of nature etc.

I was reccomended to this site by Juraiko1324... who, can I add, has completely mastered the mysteries of PDN. [he made me say that but I'm sure it's true]

Hoping to make loads of friends <3

Hey well here's my story:

I downloaded paint.net awhile ago, and I never really used it for much other than messing around or for school projects (because paint really sucked). I've read around the forums for awhile and downloaded plugins and such. I randomly decided to join today. Hopefully I can get good with paint.net, but I'm not really a good artist lol. Oh well I know this community is fun and welcoming so hopefully I can become active here.

Welcome Breathe! You'll get the hang of it soon enough. You don't really have to be an artist to create good digital images. Just have a little bit of imagination, and sometimes a lot of patience. I have very basic drawing skills and I do well enough. :) I hope you'll be starting a gallery soon so I can take a look at your stuff!

Thanks, yeah I'm trying to make a avatar and sig now but I know that's not something that happens in an hour. I guess I'm one of those people that can envision a really good picture in my head, but can't put it on the paper if that makes sense.

Ignore my title...

Hello.

I decided to join this forum to show some of my skills and work. (No, I'm not an artist or something, just a normal user)

And why do I choose Paint.NET over Adobe Photoshop, GIMP and Corel Paint Shop Pro? Simply, it's user-friendly.

Finding the right effect is much easyer. Working with layers is much easyer. The program doesn't create a layer every time i paint something, like Photoshop...

Oh and my name is Alex and I am 13 years old. :)

I can't guarantee I will be too active here because I have a life, too and some other forums.

AEONIX IS BACK!

Remember me? (Anyone who was around last summer)

I was an on/off Paint.NET user until I actually started using Photoshop.

With all that was going on in my life, I decided to go on hiatus from most social-networking sites I was on.

Well I'm back!

Hi, BreakingWalls here, I have been using Paint.NET for a couple of months now and I think I am getting quite good. I am into playing Xbox 360, listening to music, writing music, playing guitar/piano and Pdn'ing!

I'm a total Doctor Who freak, by the way.

Hope I fit in here.

Hello everybody!

Been using PDN for nearly a month. I like how its soo much easier to use than photoshop/gimp (which I suck at). I see it's possible to do really good stuff with this. I began looking through the tutorials yesterday, and there are so many techniques :O I already did 3 works after reading some of the stuff in this forum, and I've noticed considerable improvement.

I now occupy myself making works for a forum I'm in, for a clan/alliance in a browser game (Cybernations).

Cheers!

El.
