PDN freezes whenever a window pops up.

Recommended Posts

Hello, i have a very strange issue, any help is appreciated.

whenever a window pops up- either by me, for example after changing saturation, or by the program itself, like the window that pops up after a new update - it causes PDN to freeze:

i tried uninstalling, and installing the latest update (4.2) , same issue, also my NET Framework is up-to-date.

As @toe_head2001 alludes to, this is almost certainly caused by some other software on your system. Software like Window Blinds has been known to cause all sorts of trouble like this.

Yes, i do! it's strange though cause i've been using Paint.NET along with windows blinds for quite a long time and faced no issues.

ok thanks, i'll turn it off and see if that solves it.

EDIT: yep, the problem is solved! thank you so much guys, i wouldn't have guessed that in a million years.

Yay! Glad it works again :)

You might report this to the Windows Blinds folks. Maybe they can fix a bug on their side.
