SlamJammington
Heyo! I'm looking to recreate the weird grain/distortion found in empty space in the image below (ignoring the text). It looks like a combination of grain and smudges. What's the best way of going about creating this? My current best guess as to making this is to generate a random pattern of white and apply a jitter effect. Afterwards, I can apply a glow and chromatic aberration to give it more of a corrupted look. There's been forum posts in the past asking on how to make images look more VHS-y, but I couldn't find one detailing how to create this style of grain. I feel like I'm overlooking a really easy way to create this effect. Anyways, any input would be greatly appreciated!
