Because of the fiddly nature of lots of copying and pasting I thought a video of this would explain it better.

I will put up a written version

***Apologies in advance for the small swear word that slips out when I make a mistake***

... Any parts someone doesn't understand please shout out, as my mouth was either dry as a bone or I was dribbling ...

Play around with Blend Modes/ Opacity and Duplicating Layers - it can change drastically

It sort of works on circles if you use Tube Oblique on the shines

weird thing about Mid-Walians - we don't sound fffick like the South Walians or like we're talking through treacle like the North Walians.

I suppose it's down to dialects and how we've all got our own different types of Welsh language ?

A lot more steps than I realized...thank you

And me when trying to make screenshots 😋  15 done and I've only got to the Lower opacity after Negation.  Never seems so long when you're doing it for yourself

Thanks both.  And @MJW and @ReMake

Nice video tutorial welshblue. If your voice was a few octaves higher, I think you would sound like Paul McCarthy.

Noooo ... someone else saying I sound like a Scouser.  It's strange because I'm a 100 miles away from Liverpool yet some people think I'm from there.

I speak Welsh every day - more than I do English and yet ...

Something else weird about me 😉  I wouldn't mind his bank balance though

Thanks mate.  For the rep' too

That was lots of fun!  Many different settings that you just tweak to your own liking.

Here's my go...

I got so involved with this, I forgot to pick the next theme for SOTW...🙄

And what a go it is.  I absolutely love that.  It just works on so many levels.  Bravo

I've got a family Christening to go to today so if I don't get struck down walking into the church, I'll be finishing the written part tomorrow

I wait until the entire tutorial is done

Just for you I'll make sure I get it done tomorrow 😘  Thank you

@lynxster4 ... each time I look at that I fall further in love with it.  There's something so striking about red roses with gypsophila.  Thanks for the rep'

also to @Woodsy @Seerose @dipstick @barbieq25 and @Pixey ... you guys make any effort going into the tuts' no effort at all

I was wrong, you sound more like Angus Young

As long as I sound ... alive ... I don't really mind🤣

I like Balls to the walls. I had that lettering on the back of my old DragBike. It was very Old-School....

@Seerose and everyone ... the written tutorial is now finished.  I've tried to make it as comprehensive and as concise as I could - please point out any errors

@dipstick ... that is one mega cool video.  My first thought when I saw the back rubber was fwock - when I saw the time it was louder.  200 yds ? Bigger cajones than me mate.

I used to feel safe in a rally car - 4 wheels and roll cage.  I'm not sure if you're fearless or insane 😉  Both ?

The biggest risk I take now is taking the TV remote off the missus

@ReMake ... thanks for pointing out the dodgy link for Outline Object

I went way off the beaten path with this one, sorry. I went with blue tinted glass on my butterfly shape.

No sorry needed.  A tut is to point the way ... alternative directions are good for us all to see ... and broaden our own horizons 😉

I like it.  It's very surreal and very effective.  Great colour combo'

Thanks for the PDF @Woodsy

Really nice, clever interpretation of the tut'.  Great artistry

(if I may suggest,  erase the left and bottom of the water about 3mm and then you'll get the illusion of the same thickness of glass all round ? 😉)

That's by the by ... great image

Yes, I should have noticed that ...... too much of a hurry yesterday.  I've re-posted with the alterations 😁
