Paint.net Windows Recordings

So I am trying to record in paint.net but the windows are not appearing. I assume this is due to the fact they are considered seperate windows from paint.net. Is there a way I can record the windows as well in window capture? (I already contacted streamlabs OBS support. They didn't know)

Welcome @FieryFighter to the forum :) 

 

You can't 'record'  in Paint.net.  If you mean you want to record what you are doing in Paint.net, you will have to use another software capture.  I use Icecream Recorder.  You can also use this function:

 

Do a Ctrl-Shift & Print Screen to capture your screen shot.

Then open up a new document in PDN. The document size will be the same size as the image you have captured to your clipboard.

Then simply paste it in!

Only way I was able to record PDN and the windows with OBS was to use a cropped screen capture.
