comrade-pancake
Program's been doing this for about two days. I can't open the program unless I reboot. If I close it, I must reboot again in order to be able to launch the program. Does anyone know of any good resolutions, or at least explanations? If you need more information lemme know. Thanks! toe_head2001
So what happens when you attempt to open Paint.NET without rebooting? Do you see error messages? Does the process simply die? Does the process show up in the Task Manager? Can you try opening Paint.NET multiple times while in Windows Safe Mode? That will rule out any interference from third-party programs. I will make sure to give it a go in safe mode, and to keep you updated on that. Thanks!
Rick Brewster
Make sure to look for PaintDotNet.exe in the Details tab of Task Manager. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

I did, but there was nothing. However, I recently rebooted my computer to install some updates for AVG, and for some reason, it began to work again. Must've been some sort of setting I bumped or something, I'm unsure.
