marasama
On the layers window, you can't use the middle mouse roller to scroll up or down in the layers. It worked on Paint.NET v4.0.5. It doesn't work on Paint.NET v4.1.5. Not sure if this was intentional.
BoltBait
What version of Windows are you on? Was it the same version for both installations of Paint.NET? marasama
Yes. Win7 64bit - 16GB RAM - Laptop. Before it worked = Paint.NET v4.0.5 Current doesn't worked = upgraded from Paint.NET v4.0.5 to Paint.NET v4.1.5 (straight, no in between updates). BoltBait
OK, this is going to be a problem on Windows 7. The thing is, Win 7 has a problem scrolling non-active windows. So, you could try clicking on a layer in the layer window THEN try scrolling with the mouse wheel. This has been fixed in Windows 10. In Win 10, you go to Settings > Mouse > Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them. There is some software you can try on Windows 7 to see if it works for you. It is called KatMouse. Give it a shot and see if it solves the problem for you... then come back here and report. Good luck! marasama
Actually, I reverted back to the lower version, Paint.NET v4.0.5. I also had extreme performance issue with the new one after ~10 mins of usage. It seems to have a memory leak when I used it. Sorry about not trying the KatMouse.
