suggestion: add an option for enlarging the mouse cursor

Recommended Posts

hello, i would like to make a suggestion:

recently, when I am working on paint.net software, I always find the mouse cursor is very small and nearly invisible. I also can't find it unless I move the cursor to the edge/corner so that I can see the window's default big arrow mouse cursor again so then I know where is the cursor.

It will be best to add an option for making the cursor bigger?

Thanks!

The first thing you might try is to switch to dark theme.

I find it much easier to track the cursor when using the dark theme.

Click the gear :Settings: then select the dark theme.

Thank you the tip!  I use paint.net daily, and I've recently bought a new larger monitor, but since then the cursor is sometimes impossible to see, especially if I'm working then move away from the screen for a few minutes.  The dark theme will help me a LOT!  So, thank you for the tip, I really appreciate it

If you're using high DPI, you can also try installing the 4.1.7 preview build -- I've reworked it so that cursors will be larger at non-integral scaling levels such as 125%, 150%, 175%.

Thank you, I will try it out.  I've just realised, you're the developer of Paint.Net... Thank you for such an amazing program!  I actually use it more than any other editing software, including Photoshop.  It's quite unbelievable that you offer it for free.. Not that I'm complaining of course!

Thanks
