Urgent help needed!

So, I tried working on my assessment pieces earlier today, and got the following message:

I've been working on them on the same laptop in the latest version of Paint.NET, and have suddenly been getting this message. I really need help, otherwise I'm on the verge of failing!

Until a 'tech'  logs on who may know about what's causing your problem, here's my 2 cents .

 

Can you tell us what operating system you have on your laptop please.  And, how much memory do you have?

 

And it's worth to try this: 

OS (C:) – Program Files – Paint.net – scroll down to the  PdnRepair.exe and run it.
