CandimationsOnYT Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) Whenever I use the fill bucket I've been using the line tool and the brush tool, I have also tried the pencil tool but somehow it still will not fill correctly, it will either end up filling the entire canvas and other things. Do you think the select tool could help? (EDIT) Thank you guys, I have solved the problem. Edited October 4, 2018 by CandimationsOnYT Quote
HyReZ Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) Greeting CandimationsOnYT, The Paint Bucket is a part of the Tool collection. The Paint Bucket is used to fill a space with an selected color or a selected fill pattern.https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/PaintBucket.htmlThe Pencil tool is used to draw lines, curves, and shapes.https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/Pencil.htmlSee Paint.NET documentation:https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/index.html Edited October 4, 2018 by HyReZ Quote
Rick Brewster Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 If it's filling the whole canvas, you will need to either lower the Tolerance or turn off anti-aliasing. Both of those are in the toolbar. Do you think the select tool could help? You probably need to set the Tolerance level when using the fill tool. After selecting the fill tool, look on the tool bar for it.
