Paint.NET 4.1.1 running in Parallel + Windows 10 on iMac Issue

Recommended Posts

When using Windows PC, I know that if I use CTRL + [ or ] to decrease/increase the size of the brush.  However, when running PDN inside Parallel that is installed with Windows 10, the keyboard shortcut does not work.  When I use the bracket, it decrease/increaste -/+ by 1.  I am not sure if this a bug or an issue of running inside a virtual machine.

Same issue with PDN v4.1.2 where the shortcut combo of CTRL+brackets aren't changing the brush size.  Pressing bracket will work but not with the CTRL and bracket combo.  Here are my specs:

Sounds like Parallels might not be passing the key combo along to the guest OS.

Try running a Keyboard Tester program in the guest OS, and see if the key combo is working.

Here are a few: http://www.ilovefreesoftware.com/24/windows/free-keyboard-testing-software.html

(September 25th, 2023)  Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue.
