I'm having a strange issue where Color Balance settings aren't applied properly: when I hit OK in the "Color Balance" dialog, the brightness and contrast settings are applied to the image, but the color settings revert to normal with no change to the image. (Can provide a screencap or something if needed, but I'm taking no special steps to produce the error.)

I recently switched to Windows 10, and I got the latest version from the first post. Not sure which of the two updates broke it. (It definitely worked as recently as a few weeks ago.)

Is anyone else having similar issues?

Yeah, I'm seeing some funny behavior with my latest Color Balance plugin (the one in this pack).

I'll post a fix in about 4 hours from the time this message is posted.  Hang tight!

I'm having same issues for a few days now the color sliders work as normal, but once you hit OK for the changes, it reverts back to the original image 😕

Here is a fix:

ColorBalanceFix.zip

I'll include this fix in the next build of my plugin pack. But, for now, just download from this post and install the normal way.

I want to use the fill from clipboard which should be under Effects > Fill, but Effects > Fill doesn't exist? Am I missing something?xnlb6Se.png

The plugins require a recent version of Paint.NET.  You are using v4.1.6. You need to update.

Somehow I was indeed... I updated to 4.2.1 first, but apparently the (check for updates)-button installs any newer versions it finds in the default directory, instead of the one I use

what has changed in 5.0? I've just installed I think the same selection of plugins over 4.9 with overwrite popping up on every one.

Lots of little changes, plus some new plugins. Be sure to run the installer and make sure that ALL the plugins are selected as new plugins don't get automatically selected if you've had my plugins installed before.

Hi BoltBait,

Thanks for the Plugin Fix for Color Balance. I have installed it and it works fine.

I then had an issue where the Plugin was appearing twice in the Adjustments menu. I simply deleted the .dll file from Documents/paint.net App Files/Effects and it only appears once now. Just thought I'd leave this comment in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

The installer failed on several (~12) dlls - "failed to bind to object". I reran the installer 3x, and on the third run, it installed without errors.

Not sure what that means.... I have PDN 4.2.11, the BBPPack above, Win10, and I install PDN in a custom directory ("D:\LocalData\EXEs\PaintDotNet").

Just giving you feedback; seems to work OK after 3 installs.
