Rick Brewster
Yeah I can't really do anything without a crash log Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Rick Brewster
Normally you can navigate to the crash log via the Settings dialog in the Diagnostics section ....... But because it's Settings that's crashing, you can go to C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local\paint.net\CrashLogs Also, are you using Paint.NET version 4.0.21 (the latest) ? There were some older versions that crashed in Settings because of a WPF bug ... Franken
@toe_head2001 @Rick Brewster Oh that's weird, I thought I did add it... I added it now! The crash log is mostly in Dutch though, I doubt it will actually help you. Yes I'm using the latest version Edit: Just tried to find the crash log through the way you mentioned, but it's not in my paint.net folder O.O I added the error message I keep getting in the OP though Edited July 18, 2018 by Franken
BoltBait
You have Paint.NET installed in your Documents directory? Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
Franken
Just now, BoltBait said: You have Paint.NET installed in your Documents directory? Well I installed it and then moved the folder. On my old computer it was the same, and worked fine. I like it because it's easier for me to organize it. I installed it in DATA because my C : doesn't have a lot of room, so I save everything in my DATA and external harddrive. Could the moving of the folders be the reason it's crashing? Paint.NET is designed only to run from the folder where you install it.
