Azurexis Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 (edited) Hey guys! First of all, english is not my native language, sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes. I want to make cards like these: https://imgur.com/a/JOKAx#77 I know how to do the pixel art stuff and also how to darken the upper and lower edges, but I don't know how to achieve this paper effect. I tried using these brushes - https://www.brushking.eu/470/free-faded-splatters.html - as another layer on top of the card and then work somehow with blend effects. I also tried using the image noise tool, but also no luck. Has anyone an idea on how to achieve this effect? Thanks in advance for any answers! Edited July 17, 2018 by Azurexis Quote
Eli Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 There is a tutorial for crumpled paper but the images are missing. Quote
doughty Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 I have a screen grab of the tutorial "Detailed Aged Parchment" - now in the Tutorial Graveyard. If anyone wants to repost. I'm missing, I think, two images. Quote

Pixey Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Hello @Azurexis and Welcome to the forum After looking at your card example, I think it looks more like a textured piece of paper, so I had a play around. ~ clickable ~ Final result: If it's not what you are looking for - no worries Another paper texture example can be found here.
