[Wishlist] Pluginfolders

Hi,

i like Paint.net al lot, because i do glitch and noise picture and realy like some plugins, my plugin list is just full filled up...and i sort my favs also, but...

1. How i can make my own folders and easy put my favs into it. (have some folders with wrong category imho)

- my workflow is to open paint and windwosexplorer, testing the plugin, if this not good i close paint erase the plugin from folder restart paint...

- in some circumstances a plugin is into a package (with more plugins) so i can´t kill one plugin from a package...but i am sure i will not need this one FX...how can i invisible/ kill/erase it from a list?

2. if the list is so long, its a bit complicated to hit the small pull down arrow bottom , mouse-scoll (for sure in all pulldown-menues) should a big help

3. not sure why but all my 8bf plugins will not work in the 8bf plugin (Error: HRESULT 0x8007007e)

- Andrews-Filters 5

- AB Filters 2000

- Filter Factory Gallery A,B,C,D

- FunHouse

- Krusty´s FX vol. 3

- Lokas Software

are some of them, and maybe very old...

4. i realy will love a RANDOM fuction for Plugins (inside one pugin, like "reseed" funktion), but its a point for plugin developer (i love u for the plugin

My guess is that MSVCRT10.dll is not in the Paint.NET Effects folder, this file is required by all Filter Factory filters.

You can download this file from The Plugin Site.

 

For future reference all problems with 8bf filters should be posted in the plugin thread, that way it will help others who may have the same problem.

Thanks, some FX works now but some not, with same Error message...do i need maybe another additional DLL?

Is there a Basic Thread for improvements for

1. Ideas

2. choosen Ideas that will come next time

Some Filter Factory filters require Plugin.dll that comes installed with Photoshop and other Adobe products.

You will have to copy Plugin.dll from an Adobe product that installs it (such as a Photoshop trial) into the Paint.NET Effects folder.

Is there more hidden knowledge hahaha*...Thank u, will try it.

But this was not my intension in this thread, -solving probs-

Was trying 3 Versions of Plugin.dll

1. from "medll.com"

2. FreeVersion of PS CS2

3. Demo of PS CC 2018

 

The on of "medll.com" and "ps cc 2018" works but not for all plugins.
