pauls46 Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Hi, I have a Win11 pro (64b) desktop. Both web version & MS Store versions are installed, but only the paint.net downloaded version shows the Selection category of the Paint.NET Effects menu. As you can see from the images, the dll file is in the right place & the Effects menu has no Selection category. Also, i rebooted the PC before testing. Thanks Quote

Pixey Posted June 12 Posted June 12 @pauls46 I wonder if you are aware that the store bought version for the Effects folder is different from the Classic version? You can see 'How To' by looking halfway down this page: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/InstallPlugins.html Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon.

null54 Posted November 15 Author Posted November 15 Release version 2.0, which has the following changes: Allow the user to change the algorithm's random number seed. Made the plugin's rendering multi-threaded. Improved responsiveness when cancelling the effect. Reduced the plugin's initialization time (thanks @Rick Brewster). Fixed the dialog's tab order. 1 3 Quote Plugin Pack | PSFilterPdn | Content Aware Fill | G'MIC | Paint Shop Pro Filetype | RAW Filetype | WebP Filetype The small increase in performance you get coding in C++ over C# is hardly enough to offset the headache of coding in the C++ language. ~BoltBait

BDP Posted November 24 Posted November 24 For me, I think it would be preferable for the "Render automatically" to be unchecked. Sometimes it messes your selection up because you haven't chosen the Fill Direction that you require first Brian Quote
