dmz94
Hello - new "paint.net" user here. Looks like a great tool and I appreciate all the plugins - Thanks! I am trying to create a "distressed" look for an image and am using the "paste alpha" plugin. I can get most of the way there but I can not get the distressed look to be transparent. That is, I get the distress added to the image but it is "white". Is there a way to make it transparent so the distress show the color behind the original object? This is for a T-shirt so I want the color to come through. Thanks!
MJW
Assuming you're referring to BoltBait's Paste Alpha plugin, it should do what you want. Are you using it correctly? The alpha mask needs to be in the clipboard. It can be either a grey-scale mask, where black is transparent and white is opaque, or a mask of the actual alpha values to use. Which one is determined by the plugin's alpha-source control.
