gowron
first I apologize if this has already been covered but I tried searching for it and frankly not sure what terms to search for that would give the result I am looking for. I am trying to find a way to paste an image into a selected area without the pasted image going outside the borders of the selected area. Is there a tool for this or is it even possible? Example I have made an outline of big circle then used the selection wand to select the circle and then I want to paste an image into that selected circle but not have it go anywhere but inside the circle. When I try to do this, the image never does that, it just shows up as it's entire size and ignores the selected area. any help appreciated. gowron

Crimson
You can place the picture under the circle in a new layer and position it as you want, then use the magic wand and delete the surrounding areas.
