Namor
Well, I've been using Paint.Net for a while, and the other day, I was cleaning off my desktop, and I accidentally deleted the PDN icon. I didn't think much of it at first, but, unbeknownst to me, that was the .EXE file for it. Is there any way I can just download the executable file, without downloading the rest? Any help is apreciated. (Not sure if this is in the correct forum.) Quote Always 100% PDN. |Gallery|
Overkill
Well, I'm not sure, but re-installing might do the trick, if you have the installer that is. If not, you can always download PDN again. I'm not really sure if you can 'crate' another executable, 'doubt it. Did you check your recycle bin to see if you have emptied it? Namor
Well, I re-downloaded it, and that worked out fine. I was just worried it would delete all my effects and such, and I'd have to download them all over again. Thanks for the help. Ash
Back up all your effects to a folder on your other drives. ie. thumb drives and such. And read the rules....change your thread title. Ash
Change it so when others tries to search, they can find it. That's one of the reasons we ask you to have a clear title. I didn't think much of it at first, but, unbeknownst to me, that was the .EXE file for it. The desktop shortcut is not the EXE. It's a shortcut or link to it. (If you dig deep, you'll find that shortcuts actually have the .LNK extension). If it happens again or something, you can just right click on the desktop, click New -> Shortcut and it will ask you to find the file to link to. Usually Paint.NET's is in C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\PaintDotNet.exe No harm done, though. Paint.NET is a small program, so the download and install are pretty quick.
