SkylerSpark
Okay Okay, i know i have the payed version, and thats because the free version wasnt working and it still isnt, basically when i go to https://www.getpaint.net/download.html and i go to https://www.dotpdn.com/ nothing happens.... it just asked me to buy it or head back to getpaint.net to download it IT MAKES ME WANNA PULL MY HAIR OUT the reason i want the free version is because microsoft store apps don't allow us access to the app folders WindowsApps, and when i try to paste a plugin DLL into the paint.net main folder, it just says its not allowed if i had the free version it would be much easier to add plugins instead of spending hours trying to De-rank Trusted-installer and Up-rank ME so i can add plugins In the photos i attached you can see i go to getpaint.net and i click download and it brings me to a page to get free or payed version, then i get free, and i go to DotPDN, and soon after it asked to get free version from getpaint.net and basically THE SITES JUST GO IN A BIG CIRCLE AND NO DOWNLOAD IS AVAILABLE PLEASE SOMEONE FIGURE THIS OUT
BoltBait
No need to overreact. Everything's working fine. You're probably just clicking on the wrong link. Starting at https://www.getpaint.net click on the circled link: Then, on the download page, click on the circled link: Finally, click on the dotPDN link: Easy as pi. Now, if all you really want to do is add plugins to your store version, read this page: https://blog.getpaint.net/2017/09/29/paint-net-is-now-available-on-the-windows-store/ There are instructions on how to do it under the heading "What about plugins". 1 Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Computer Dominos Game
pat71896
Thanks so much for the info. I have spent too much time trying to get my 'dll' files into PDN. Best wishes to you and yours, Pat Edited March 2, 2018 by pat71896
pat71896
I had purchased PDN from MS Store and even with the link that was given, I still could not find a place for 'dll' files. Then, MS says there are NO REFUNDS. I did download the freebie program. I am sorry it was not feasible for you to ask for a $5.00 donation rather than give any money to MS. But, if I may, I would vote for you to request the donation and leave any store out of the mixture. I will give you $5 as well. I am off to get my dlls (I had issues with my Dell and they REPLACED my HD.) Ugh. May you be blessed in ways you have not yet imagined.
