Moving points in lines not working how it's supposed to

Recommended Posts

So, when I go to move points in a line while holding the points and pressing the arrow keys, SOMETIMES it works how I want it to, but sometimes it doesn't

When it doesn't, the whole line moves when I use the arrow keys while holding the point!

Can someone tell me why this happens, and how to fix it?

Hmm, I've never experienced that myself. Can you identify exactly when it occurs?  i.e. under what conditions.

Clicking an individual Nub should just move that particular Nub with arrow keys.  Clicking the Four-way Arrow should move the whole shape with arrow keys.

Then again, you could always follow this solid advice:

I guess you could keep trying... I mean it has to work soon enough.

I replicated this.  Draw a line on a New Layer ... the cursor keys work OK.  Draw another line on the same layer and it moves the entire line.

Individual lines on their own layers are fine.  I guess I've never noticed before because every line has always had it's own layer

This should be fixed in the next update (4.0.20) !

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Rick ... but the cursor keys don't work at all now to curve the line.  Individual lines or not.

The whole line just moves
