If so, you will have to resize the image, like so: and then use Image - Crop to selection - which will then make both layers the same size. Ego Eram Reputo Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 Importing a larger image always enlarges the canvas to accommodate the bigger image. This happens automatically and can't be changed. Instead, open your second image then copy & paste it into a new layer in your original. 1. Open image you want to add to. 2. Open the image you want to import 3. Press Ctrl+Shift+C to copy the import image. 4. Activate the image from 1. 5. Press Ctrl+Shift+V to paste into a new layer.
