Plugin Index + PDF formatting

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of adding a little more color to the PDF version of the Plugin Index. Specifically, I'm color coding those plugins which have some sort of 'issues'.

Brief demo >> Sample

I don't think "Caution" is the right word. Thoughts on that and the layout/coloring?

I think this is a fantastic idea! It could prevent a lot of frustration when people try to download or use obsolete plugins.

But um...could you please not use that shade of yellow-green? :fear:

I second that.

Attention instead of Caution ?  Or Discretion ?

The grey works well

Yes, I think the color coding idea is a winner   (Maybe pink instead of green )

I've used green to denote new plugins for quite a while. I'll see if I can turn down the intensity :)

I might use the Status field as the left hand note.  That would give tips of Obsolete, Unsupported, Built-in, Incompatible, etc. The Active status would not put anything in the the left field as in the demo.

Thanks for the feedback!

Formatting update. I've toned down the green

Gray is used for all entries with "issues". The reason for the issue is repeated in the left hand field.

Added orange tint to Filetypes and Plugin Packs. These entries have their Type repeated in the left hand field.

Fill listing with new formatting: Plugin Index PDF Beta

Thank you.  I would hug you ... but you know ...

Must admit it looks better with the toned down colour.
