voltavidTony
I today have tried out paint.net, and it seems a very nice software. I do however miss some of the features of my old editing software, such as the fact that when my tool's color has an alpha of 0, it acts as an eraser. So the rectangle tool will punch a rectangular hole in the image layer, etc. I would really like to see this implemented (It makes sense too, why would you use alpha = 0 unless it erases stuff). BoltBait
You can already do this by changing the blend mode of the tool to replace. Check the toolbar when the tool is active.
