How Do I Move A "Rectangle Select"ed?

I can create/select a rectangle but what I want to know is how can I move it as selected? Also, once selected is there any way to change the size?

Select the Move Selection tool from the Tool list. (It's the fourth one on the list.)

Alternative: Hold down the Left button to drag out the  selection rectangle, then add the right mouse button (both buttons are held down) = move the rectangle around. Release the right button to continue to alter the size
