Paint.NET 4.0.17 installed to portable version

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

until today I used paint.NET 3 portable.

While doing an update today to 4.0.17 it changed from a portable version 3 to an installed version 4.

What do I have to do to get a portable version of 4.0.17 (as I'd like to run it from USB-stick, where I collected a lot of portable tools to have them avilable on different PCs)rds

Many thanks and kind regards

Besch

See the following post on the Paint.NET blog for details on the portable mode in 4.0.17.

The small increase in performance you get coding in C++ over C# is hardly enough to offset the headache of coding in the C++ language. ~BoltBait
