Photobucket help ... and file formats and fading?

Recommended Posts

Okay I am having a LOT of trouble with uploading my pics on my photobucket. I really have no idea how to change file format. I'm kindof new to this stuff so I'm sure it seems like a stupid question. Also I'm having trouble with fading. It looks like a cut and paste job and I've tried everything I've found on fading but nothing seems to work. Will someone please help? Much thanks! :D

Renamed title to be less generic

Please make sure you adhere to the guidelines posted at the top of the Tutorials forum when making a post in there.

Also, please do not post threads with generic titles such as "Stuck" or "I need help." Imagine if everyone did this: the forum would be pages of generic thread titles with no way to figure out what any thread was really about.

Thanks.

How so? Your pic isn't uploading clear enough, or is it to pixelated? Well, I know you are new and you are not stupid for asking this question. So, the thing to Photobucket is finding out what type of files they do accept, and what they don't. Ex: Paint.net or (pdn) files aren't exceptable, and neither is TIFF and TGA. Everything else: jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, swf are just fine.

To see what type of file format you want to save your pic as, all you have to do is, (when your pic is finalized), click "save as", after the small window pops up, click on "save type as", and that's where you chose what file type you what, or what file types are acceptable to photobucket listed above.
