C7007 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Hello everyone ! I'm working on a poster and I need to modify it, but the pdn was created with Paint.NET 4.016 and I have 4.0.17, the latest version. Here is the bug report ; Spoiler System.FormatException: file is not a valid paint.net document à PaintDotNet.Document.FromStream(Stream stream) dans D:\src\pdn\src\Data\Document.cs:ligne 1330 à PaintDotNet.FileType.Load(Stream input) dans D:\src\pdn\src\Data\FileType.cs:ligne 496 à PaintDotNet.Functional.Func.Eval[T1,TRet](Func`2 f, T1 arg1) dans D:\src\pdn\src\Base\Functional\Func.cs:ligne 158 Yeah, I'm french so : à means at, dans means in and ligne is line. Thanks for your help! Quote
toe_head2001 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 You're calling paint.net v4.0.16 ancient? Lost in translation, perhaps? Are you sure your file has not become corrupt? Can you confirm that your file still opens in paint.net v4.0.16? Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
C7007 Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 Yes, bad translation. I don't know how this file could have been corrupted and I haven't 4.0.16, I will try to uninstall-reinstall 0.17 then I will test on 0.16 Quote
C7007 Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 OK, so it doesn't work after the re-install of 4.0.17, but I haven't the 4.0.16 installator. Quote
toe_head2001 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 You can download v4.0.16 here: http://filehippo.com/download_paint.net/74726/ This will confirm whether it is a bug or a corrupted file. Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
C7007 Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 Doesn't work with PDN 4.0.16 too. So it's a corrupted file, but I don't know why. Quote
